Law Office of David H Weiss

After graduating with honors from New York Law School in 1984, Mr. Weiss became an associate attorney with the firm of radical defense lawyer Lynne F. Stewart. He established his own practice in New York in 1986. In 1991 Mr. Weiss won the case of United States v Nelson Cuevas-Ramirez in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, becoming the first and only criminal defense lawyer in the history of the United States to win a complete acquittal of a foreign national extradited from his home country by the US. Other clients upon request. Mr. Weiss was appointed to United States Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panels for the United States District Courts in 1988. He now resides in Sweden and Southeast Asia.
